I love green plants. This plant died away in the summer – seemingly. (I had forgotten to water it.) It turned completely brown. But I did not throw it away. It wasn't dead, not at all. Now there are lots of new green shoots on it, and there will be lovely red flowers next year. I cut the dead twigs away. It's in my porch now. In the afternoon we went by bus to Newquay – we had to go shopping. There were artists on the beach – there was no rain and the tide was going out. Their work will be washed away next high tide. There is more art in the post office as well. The journey home was long, all around the small roads. There was a fire in a big barn near the main road (700 hay and straw bales). The road was closed for several hours.
