Yesterday was Remembrance Sunday. By the church I saw several wreaths made of red poppies, round the war memorial. There is a spring in a field below. A little stream runs from this spring. It runs across our neighbours' field and into a horse pond. Today, from the pond it is flowing across the lane, because there is too much water – it's over-filled.
