Too much sun, too many animals, too many weeds and too much work today! My garden is a weed patch – ferns, brambles, tussock grass, stinging nettles. They are growing so fast. However, some wild flowers are beautiful. I like the red campions and the foxgloves, though they are nearly finished. There is a lot of quaking grass on a wall. It is white against the dark green ivy. It is very beautiful, in my opinion. My husband needed a ladder to reach some bracken. The hedges by the road are full of bracken as well, but it is not our job to cut it.
